Gold Gel Exception List

Gold Gel thickness is 1cm, so always ensure you have enough foam to install the insert.

*TIP - Use a sewing needle and permanent pen. Mark a dot on the metal stem 1cm away from the tip. Poke each section of the foam, especially where you believe it is thin. The mark should be able to touch the foam before hitting the plastic pan underneath. If the mark does not reach the foam and you hit the plastic pan first, Gold gel is not recommended to be installed in that area.

Below is a list of known seats that may pose a challenge to the install process.

APRILIA	TUONO 11-19	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam.
BMW	K1600GTL 11-19	Installation might be possible, however there is a heated insert in the way. Attempt at your own risk!
BMW	F800R 09-13	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam.
DUCATI	PANIGALE 1299 15-18	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam. (OEM Comfort Seat is not bonded)
DUCATI	PANIGALE 1199 11-15	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam. (OEM Comfort Seat is not bonded)
DUCATI	PANIGALE 959 16-18	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam. (OEM Comfort Seat is not bonded)
DUCATI	PANIGALE 899 13-15	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam. (OEM Comfort Seat is not bonded)
HONDA	GOLDWING F6B 13-17	Installation might be possible, however if you have the heated seat we don't recommend installing gel. Attempt at your own risk!
KTM	RC8 08-15	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam.
MV AGUSTA	Brutale 675 800 12-16	Installation is possible, however cutting through the factory seat cover is mandatory as it is bonded with the foam.
YAMAHA	R1 15-19	Plastic pan too shallow on the sides. Only the middle of the seat can accommodate the passenger gold gel. Email us at for more information.
